San Diego cleaning questions
Cleaning Service FAQs for San Diego
Clear answers before you request service. Your exact scope, price and appointment are always confirmed directly.
What is the difference between standard and deep cleaning?
Standard cleaning maintains an already cared-for home and normally focuses on kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, floors and routine surfaces. Deep cleaning allows more time for buildup, detail work and priority areas confirmed in your quote.
How long does a San Diego house cleaning take?
Timing depends on square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, condition, access and requested detail. A smaller maintained home may take a few hours, while a first-time deep clean or move service can take substantially longer. We confirm an expected range after reviewing your request.
How should I prepare for the cleaner?
Secure valuables and medications, reduce loose clutter where practical, identify fragile items, provide entry and parking instructions, and tell us about pets or priority rooms. You do not need to pre-clean.
Are cleaning supplies included?
Routine supplies and equipment can be included when confirmed with your service. Tell us in advance about preferred products, delicate materials, allergies or surfaces that require special care.
Do I need to be home during cleaning?
No. Many clients provide approved access instructions. We confirm entry, locking, alarm and pet details before the appointment.
How often should recurring cleaning be scheduled?
Weekly service works well for busy households, pets and consistently high-use spaces. Every two weeks is the most common balance for many homes. Monthly service fits lighter-use homes but may require more time per visit.
What should be included in move-out cleaning?
A move-out scope commonly includes empty-room surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen exteriors, floors, baseboards and accessible buildup. Inside appliances, cabinets, walls, balconies and other extras must be specifically included in the confirmed quote.
Can cleaning guarantee my security-deposit return?
No cleaning company can control a landlord or property manager decision. We can follow a confirmed cleaning scope and your documented move-out checklist, but repairs, damage, wear and lease-specific requirements are separate.
How are coastal San Diego homes different to clean?
Coastal homes may collect fine sand, salt residue, moisture and faster window or metal buildup. More frequent floor care, entry-mat cleaning and attention to ventilation-prone areas can help maintain the space.
What should an apartment cleaning checklist include?
A practical apartment checklist covers kitchen counters and appliance exteriors, bathroom fixtures, dusting, reachable surfaces, floors, mirrors and trash. Add-ons such as inside ovens, refrigerators, cabinets, balconies, laundry or heavy buildup should be confirmed separately.
Is an online request a confirmed appointment?
No. It is a booking request. Your appointment is confirmed only after SD Fresh and Clean approves availability, scope, price and any required deposit.
What payment methods are accepted?
After approval, accepted methods may include Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or another method confirmed directly by SD Fresh and Clean. Do not send payment before receiving confirmation.
How do cancellations and rescheduling work?
Call or text as soon as plans change. Any cancellation charge, deposit treatment or rescheduling condition is disclosed before the appointment is confirmed or a deposit is accepted.
